2025 | Plastic Antweight
Inspired by the likes of Battlebots & NHRL, Hauteclere is my first introduction in the world of combat robots. Sporting a drum and dual wheel drive, the goal of Hauteclere was to be a simple and straightforward design in order to solidify the fundamentals and basics of combat robot electronics.

Project Overview
The plastic antweight division in combat robotics is a 1 lb weight class where all structural and weapon components must be fully 3D-printed.
Planning
As any CAD project starts, the first step in the design process is to use 2D layouts to allocate space for all of the electronics as well as set sizes for the weapon, wheel, and other major decisions. This allows for adjustment further down the road as dependencies will lead back to the robot architecture.
